Born and raised in the spiritual heartland of India, Gopal Ji was introduced to bhakti yoga, mantra chanting, and yogic discipline at an early age by his late grandfather, L. Ram Bhatt, a devoted spiritual practitioner. This early exposure laid a strong foundation for his lifelong journey into yoga.
Gopal Ji began practicing yoga at the age of 13 and later pursued his formal yoga education at the prestigious International Vishwaguru School of Yoga – Vedniketan Dham in Rishikesh. He holds a Master’s Degree in Yoga and is certified in Yogic Science, Ayurveda Panchakarma, and Naturopathy, showcasing his deep commitment to holistic well-being and traditional Indian healing systems.
With a strong foundation in Hatha Yoga and multi-style yoga, Gopal Ji has been guiding students from around the world through 200-hour, 300-hour, and 500-hour yoga teacher training courses in Rishikesh. His classes combine discipline, compassion, and clarity, creating a transformative experience for beginners and advanced practitioners alike.
Before establishing Rishikesh Yoga Capital, Gopal Ji spent six years managing his brother’s yoga school, gaining valuable insights into the operational, educational, and spiritual aspects of running a successful yoga training center.
